On the topic of things Ford isn't going to tell you ,,,

A number of early built BA utes that were optioned with premium sound were shortchanged in the speaker department (by a fair bit).

Would be useful to count them and then go hassle your servicing dealer if there aren't any more than a couple.

Do you mean Prestige Sound because as we have discussed before there is no Premium option.

With the exception of physically pulling the trim apart, how would one see if they had been shortchanged in the speaker dept.

I guess thats the answer...(oh and the suspect bulge on the parcel shelf, and here i thought it was to match the bonnet).

No. Not correct. Judging by mine it comes with 4 el cheapo tinny speakers, 2 weak tweeters, and the 6 disc unit.

Compared to the premium sound in my AU2 I'm suffering badly. It's okay, but for the first time in many years I'm up for improvements.
