Hello all, it is 2 weeks until my ute arrives (xr6) and yes i am already looking at moding it with the first stop being cold air induction with K&N air filter, I was on the SS cold air induction web site and they have a nice open mouth unit for $399 does anyone have a Herrods item fitted aand can they provide pictures please?
I have read a few threads talking about cold air induction and for the money it is not worth it, and instead of spending the money on SS or Herrods gear I would be better of spending $35 on a BA Turbo air intake, and putting the money into some thin else, is that true.
Now the K & N filter is a give me, but other then fitting a new air intake and a K & N filter into the airbox are there any other mods to the air intake system that are required to improve proformance from the I6 NA engine.
Any info or pictures would be great.

I think that this would be best answered in the I6 forum. There are many discussions in there covering this and other things that will help you in gaining better performance out of it.
