hey i just wanna know lately i have been racing a lot in my BA xr6 ute and have noticed whenever i heavily brake at high speed i can feel it shuddering through the steering wheel. is this normal? at low speed i can put brake on hard as i can and it is fine. also is it ok for the car when u need to brake really hard ? thanks guys

sounds like your front disc rotors need machining.

very common with BAs and done under warranty if still covered.
(i would not tell them that you have been racing it though, no more warranty )

what he said. also u might notice when they're cold and u turn while braking there's a sqeak, on and off.................. sound like discs r warped, got mine machines under warrenty.

and yes it's normal to have to brake hard wen ur racing! thats how u stop! hehe
