What sort of HorsePower Gain is added to a stock XR8 Ute
after the following options are added:

Option 2A
HMS Complete Exaust Package incl Hi Flow Cats

HMS Computer Upgrade.

Does anyone have a spec sheet on the differences
between the Stock Computer and HMS Computer upgrade.

Very difficult to know who to believe when it comes to these power upgrades. You can only really go by reputation. The genuine ones usually give a "satisfaction" gurantee.

I know for instance that Chiptorque give a 14 days money back satisfaction gurantee.

Note "SATISFACTION"... not fault warranty.

As for exhausts it is best you go and listen to one that has already been done to make sure you like the note. Then ask them to take u for a spin, or even better still, take one for a spin to compare the power difference to get some indication.

Its actually quite possible that you will either talk to Rob Herrod himself or one of his definately competent techs rather than a salesman.

I've heard talk that the XR8 upgrade will give you more kw's than a stock GT with their full exhaust system at the rear wheels.

Everyone that i've heard getting HMS equipment is more than happy.

I Was Wondering The Same Question.
So To Answer It, I Put My Own Car On The Dyno When It Was Totally Stock. I Have Since Added An Exhaust, Cold Air Intake And Air Filter. I'm Also In The Process Of Altering A Few Other Little Things To Help In The Hp Gain! I Would Think Within The Next 2 Weeks I Will Put It Back On The Same Dyno, And See What Difference The Mods Have Made. If Your Interested... I Suppose I Could Let You Know How I Went!
