Holden Concept Ute

While I was at the Melbourne Motor Show this year had a look on the dark side seen a Ute that took my eye. I asked the Holden sales person there is this Ute going to be build for public to buy; he replied that the interest was so strong he thinks it will go into production. I like the style of this Ute, but I don’t like the rear or tail lights. Inside the back of the tray it has nice looking stainless steel.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Re: Holden Concept Ute

there was a Ford show ute similar to that gettin around the shows a few years ago in the AU years, they had a black one here in SA with a polished wooden floor in it. No idea what happened to it though.

Re: Holden Concept Ute

With those rollbars there you cant use the step to reach anything anyway. On a high F-100 etc it might be useful but otherwise is a stupid idea to me.

Yeah I saw that also. What is the use when the tray is so narrow? Waste of space I thought. Looked OK though.

I actually don't mind stepsides, normally. But that looks crap.

Re: Holden Concept Ute

This vehicle was up at Bendigo for Poyser motor's grand new opening and I still didn't think much of it, the front is ok but like the VY, the rear is ugly.

Re: Holden Concept Ute

I reckon fordmuscle_83 hit the nail on the cliche, you don't need a side step on a Commodore ute, therefore it is a wank (what's the US equivalent of rice?)
