Long wait for BA XR8 Ute (auto) - Ford Forums - Mustang Forum, Ford Trucks, Ford Focus and Ford Cars

How long have any of you guys had to wait for XR8 (auto)? and do all XR's go through FPV or only the obvious GT's GTP's & Pursuit utes.

i wouldnt assume that an xr8 would go to pfv....purly for the fact that its not detailed in FPV badging, i may b wrong but thats my knowledge :thumbup:

Thats what I thought Sir_Boost but what about bolting on 18" wheels? (Surely that option could be done at Ford.)

I ordered my XR8 auto in January and should get it next week. I believe that all XR's are now fully assembled at Broadmeadows. This wasn't the case until recently. This was done to free up time and space for the FPV range.

I ordered my XR8 ute in October last year with the 18" wheels and they had a hold up with the autos which everyone knew about. The delivery date was suppose to be early this month now they have had some drama with the Boss engines and it looks like being early next month. Meanwhile my AU2 XR8 ute seems to be losing value pretty quick so I hope it's not to much LONGER before the new one ARRIVES!!!
