New Hardlid

[COLOR=Blue]I have now had the Carryboy Superlid for two weeks.
It looks great with the paint colour match and finish very good.
Unfortunately the lid is not removable due to electrical wiring for the brake light in the spoiler and interior dome light. Also it is a two handed operation to push in the center locking mechanism and lift the lid open as it is quite heavy due to the thickness of the fibre glass and large spoiler.
On the plus side there is more storage space height wise and the looks far outweigh the negatives.

Couldn't you put a connector in the wires for the lights so you can unplug it and remove the lid?

The Carry boy lids look good with the extra height, a bit more practical than most.

Re: New Hardlid

Yes you could put a connector between the wires but the hinges are fixed pin
and would have to be unbolted for removal.
