Fellas
Do all commercials (XR6/8 utes) regardless of there age have to get a pinkslip/rego inspection every year from the first registration year in NSW.? Or is it after 3 years like passenger cars?

Thanks

Re: NSW rego inspections

I'm pretty sure its every year you have to get a rego check done mate. Doesnt matter what it is. Different story in QLD but thats the way it is in nsw.

Re: NSW rego inspections

I know on new cars (passenger vehicles) you dont require an inspection for the first 3 years ,wasn't sure if this same rule applys for commercials.
my ute is a 2001 so I may not need an inspection this year(last year though)

Re: NSW rego inspections

I thought they changed it to 4 years, when we lived in NSW the wifes car never had an inspection as when the 3 years came up, they changed it to 4 years, then we moved to VIC, they just gave new plates and no check done, it gets serviced every 10,000k or so, but its never had a rego inspection.
