Phat XLS-ute

Would anyone know the spec's of my XLS ute 99 build 6 cylinder

i thought it was 172kw, someone said it's 150 somethin' kw

It would be 157kW, and 357Nm, which is the standard AU engine.

Actually some later ones had XR6HP motors in them so it could be 164kw... But yours being a '99 would have the 157kw motor

Yeh any of the Series III built after Feb 2002 had the Tickford Enhanced 164 HP motor.

It would have the 157 for sure.

99 tonner

My ute recently got a a T series intake and K&N filter which should be good for 5Kw and a 2.5 catback exhaust and i noticed that.....

factory gas had 143KW@4500 rpm and 362Nm @2750 rpm according to www.geocities.com/falconfacts. Although I could have sworn that i heard somewhere it had the same peak power as the petrol.
