Has anybody fitted the roll back cover to a BA Ute?
Aparently the tub has to be removed and 15mm trimmed from the top of it. About a 6 - 8 hour job.
I would like to know how much area I would lose in the ute and how weather proof the unit is.
Any info would be appreciated.

i rang them they have a distributor in melbourne he told me the whole lot fitted was $4500 painted that inculdes the roll back top, spoiler & electric motor.

Yeah I rang around for all the different types of covers, the rollback looks great, secure, but jez its expensive! 4.5k

There is only 2 installers, one in Melbourne and Qld, so I had to factor another 300$ in petrol .. in the end I kept the ford hard cover, and now using it, I am used to it and think its pretty darn good!

Looks very neat, but damn expensive. I find a simple tarp is durable and very funtional - easy to remove etc.

Thanks for the replys. I too have decided to stick to the ford hard cover. I spoke to quig and he sent a price list.
Ford... $2450
Holden... $ 2250
Remote control... $396 extra
Painted... $650 extra
Plus freight.

What does the roll back cover look like? I have never heard of it?

mm.. sorry but it looks better on the Holen than the Ford. How would it work and look good with our tub liner hanging over the edge?

Blueys utes do a roll back ( manual operation ) It is just like a roller door on the back .
I am about to get one for my XR8.The price incl fitting $1980 looks cool as My xr is Black so It should look schmik!!!.
Very secure and water proof with a Run off channel and drain pipes at rear if some water does get in .
I had a look at the auto rollers butfor me not really practical and way too expensive

p.s there is some minor mod work if you have bars
