Lads,

Could anyone dispell the myth that rego for an XR8 is less than for a XR6T.
Just got an online quote for Insurance for both with surprising results.
$706 for the XR8
$776 for the XR6T

But really, with such a small price difference, who really cares? Get the car you want. Life's way to short to give a rats about $70 a year.

More like the princess is concerned, not me.Its more like the decision for the extra 20 kw verses the extra cost for fuel and rego and nagging.
I would rather take the 260Kw's
I drive a stock 6 BA now and do about 300kms a week to work.(approx 1/2 tank)
I guess I would be up for another $20-30 bills a week.
Premium fuel is about $1.15/litre here in Brisy and I wouldnt think of putting in normal fuel.
As a matter of interest-
I put in a quote through AAMI for a GT 290kw and ended up with $1490
