I rang my ford dealer today to find out the new price of a pursuit
with ford emp prices I fell off my chair pursuit auto $59,000
xr8 full loaded $39,000 if i go this way i have $15,000 i can spend at herrords i can not work out why ford has changed the discount on my ute i got 20% now i only get 10%

That sucks

FPV discount is only 14% whereas the XR8 discount is the normal 21%. It sucks, its stopping me from getting a GT. Hope they change it to 21% soon so I can get one.

Boys, how do I get a job at Ford?! 21 per cent discounts... enough to make me beg for a job at Ford.
250 Pursuit, do you own a 250 Pursuit? If you do I would be more than happy to hang onto that!

Yeah, but after my recent insurance enquiries the hassles of modifying a car and the prices you pay maybe the Pursuit is a viable option. Having said that, with the benefit of hindsight I'd go for the following combo:

XR8 ute
18 inch wheels (to sell off as a trade for 19 inch Simmons)
Premium Brakes (you don't have to pump the pedal like on the Brembos)
Prestige Sound
Laether seats
Alloy Sports Bar
Motorbike Kit
Rope rail kit
Herrod Blower Kit (CAPA type intercooled 8psi)
Herrod extractors
Full twin 2.5 inch x-pipe exhaust

what do you know about the motorcycle kit?

comes with a hinged ramp?

does this attach somewhere when not in use?

What else do you get?

Motorbike kit consists of:

1. Front rail with two wheel receptacles, and tie down points for two bikes
2. Rear tailgate hooks to allow tieing up of tailgate against back wheel of bikes
3. Ramp that fits into holes in tailgate plastic trim, and that fits over tailgate hooks (item 2) when travelling

It's a good kit - one of the better accessories. However, the ramp is heavy being made of steel.

Getting rid of the beast Mark?
After looking at the prices i'de agree with Pete, the XR8 is way cheaper and the money you'll save you can spend on either accessories or a CAPA S/C kit which will push you upwards of 400kw's, or you could also save the money for the backyard-which will result in more mods for my ute!
