Smile Thanks for the info and posts

Gents,

Its not often I post but I would like to thank each of you for your informative comments. I have followed with great interest the mods that have been fitted and results that have been achieved.

This afternoon I am having the last of these mods fitted and wait with great anticipation. I achieved 219.3RWK’s on BTP dyno in shootout with Herrod full exhaust, SS 80mm throttle body,BTP helix, SS cold induction and K&N filter.

I am having the underdrives fitted to the XR8 Ute. From what I gather I should be gaining 10kws with a better rev response.

Once again thanks as I wouldn’t have been able to do these mods and have the ear to ear grin if others hadn’t had taken the time to post results.

Cheers……

Re: Thanks for the info and posts

Mate…. I have been told the same about the clutch. I am driving down to Margs on the weekend so I will see what happens on the open road! BPT quoted me for the 500hp clutch, which seems the go if the pedal should drop to the metal.

I have to go to the drags…A mate with a VY has done nothing but take the piss on me since I purchased the Ute so I would like to put this to bed finally.

I have never run at the drags…my mates have and say it’s a great night.

Re: Thanks for the info and posts

Update…drove the 1500kms down south and I could not be happier :) No clutch issues. It revs hard and left 2 GenIII’s and a BMW M3 at the lights pondering why they bought one!

Booked in the beast at BPT to have a 125hp wet Nitrous kit fitted Friday…
