in the process of doing up my XF ute, and would like to see any one else with non standard Xf's. So far i have -

- droped in a 351c, single rail 4spd
- put on a set of 225/50/16 5 spokes
- side skirts
- lowered
- sub/amp/headunit

Plan to -

- replace LHS door (bent, long story)
- XG grill
- XH rear bumper
- new tailgate (taken a few bangs)
- line ute area with carpet/polished cheakerplate/perspex
- new carpet
- line back wall with carpet
- replace shit brown interior with gray/custom
- decent seats
- respray

Sounds good, just need money. Would like to know wnat every1 else has done.

I have an XD ute but it does have an XF front end, XG grill. 302 Cleveland, EA Diff (disc brakes), C4 Auto, 450 Holley, premium unleaded, 12 slots (215s front, 245s back). Shaker going in soon.

Plan to drop in a 5.0Ltr EFI Windsor as soon as I can find one. Also will put in 4 speed electronic auto.

The shaker's not going to be very useful with an EFI Windsor. But if it's only the look you want ........

I have to disagree with you here. Laura Motor Garage here in SA has put a few shakers on 5.0lts. Some Falcon, some Mustang.

Ordinarily they just rig up a box and tube into the standard throttle body. Played hell with the airflow sensor but they fixed. Wont tell me how, a trade secret.

They also put a shaker in an EL XR8 by replacing the manifold (mini tunnel ram type) and installing a holley four barrel throttle body. I don't think thats been on the Dyno yet.
