I have found a small water leak behind the drivers seat coming which runs down in the corner of the rear wall and near the speaker. Has anyone else had any problems in this area? The only place i thought it may be coming in is the vent that is on the rear wall.The ute has only done 13000 k's, will get it looked at during the next service.

Would have to be an AU or most likely a BA ute. I don't think it is a common problem, so hopefully it will be easy to fix.

It is a BA, i think it is the vent but it annoys me because my last AU had a really bad leak that took 2 years to find.

I currently own AU XR8 III ute and it leaks onto my feet occasionally!

Someone in an old thread had the same prob I think, Ford replaced glass.

sure it's not the A/C system leaking on your foot from condensation or the evaporator drain clogged?

mine has had both the leak at the back and in the front, the back was where the wiring goes from the cab to the rear of the car, the grommet in there leaks like a sivv, and the wind screen support panel on the drivers side at the bottom split along the seam causing it to rain in my bloddy cab!!! ford replaced grommets, wind screens, window rubbers, cowl panels, and dash parts before they found the drama....... GO THE DEALERS!!!

ute went in for service and was found to have a leaking body seam, sealed up and so far no leaks. We will see what happens when it really gets wet.
