What do you think this would look like?

I was thinking of putting on a polished aluminium checker plate hard tray cover.
I think it would look pretty cool, but thats me, what do you think?

Cheers

Trav

Is the hard cover suppose to be behind your plates in place of the bodywork?

Hi XR8 8U,

Go for it. I've already designed one in my head and have decided to paint it black also for reflection reasons.

Be interesting to see how we both go about it. Don't think I'm ripping you off or anything, I need one but can't afford to buy one right now so it's time get inventive.

Gentlemen, start your pistol drills....

Re: What do you think this would look like?

you could paint it any colour, what ever matches your ute i reckon. I'd do mine white for obvious reasons.

(yes i own a white ute) Ive already a white cover, (its made from the same stuff for boat covers) and it only cost me $100. Ive got it flush with sides, and use press buttons. looks great.
