Guess thats about all I want to know. Just found out I'm about to be a dad again and looks like 2 seat just ain't gonna cut it for the 4 of us.I really don't want to have to go to the darkside and look at the Crewman but it seems there's no other option at the moment. By the way if anybody interested in n AU XLS III HP engine done about 7000k let me know. I'll proabaly look at about 25 k ONO for it. Please if there are any rumours Ford are going to make a Dual cab Falcon ute let me know.

There was a four door ute concept ford in wheels a while ago. All wheel drive. Looked sweet.

They had the R5 concept a couple of years back at the Melb Motor show!!

The R5 was a brilliant looking concept. It had clues to the look of the BA range and would be very practicle for a lot of people. Personally i'de see me in one, but Ford's reason not to build was there wouldn't be enough numbers vs the cost of implementing tooling, manufacturing processes and chassis etc...

I spose no sales want to be taken away from other vehicles in the range such as the twin cab courier too, but on the other hand Holden's rodeo sells pretty well in both single and twin cab now there are both these models in the commodore range. It will be interesting to see whether one model will suffer, unless Holden plans to drop the Rodeo later in favour of all commodore workhorses and 4wd utility vehicles

crewman is 5.3 meters long you need a truck license lol...i read a article at goauto.com geoff polites says if crewman sells well ford would look at putting the project back on the table but it would take 2 years to get them rollling out the door..they also belive it will take sales from other ute ranges like redeo and commodore utes..the r5 would have taking 50% of normal falcon ute sales so thats why they trashes it...

mate get an F-series dual cab, they shit on any other dual-cab ute around. Biggest, baddest, toughest mother of a vehicle ya can get.
Get one in black, lift it an chuck on a huge set of mud duellers. SWEET to the extreme.

Hear Hear!! And you've got the choice of the 7.3l Turbo Diesel torque-monster or the 5.4l which you could later swap for a Boss!!
