i had a look at to xh utes today ,

they were both about the same money , but the dealer would take my wagon as a trade.

ute one 96 xh country ute has been pranged not bad job but still could tell. 4.0 5 speed , 189 tho on the clock
inside so so it is just a ute , overal body condition , fair.
sports exhurust what type have no i dear.
cd player
cfa or whatever wheels , all of then gutter damged.
tryes so so again , there on they go a round .
has oil stanes around the front of the head but not leaking.
Front half of the gear box coated fresh oil , checked oil said add.

aumed and ared said id get back later , nice drive out to se it so on .

price $10,500.00 frim.


Ute two 98 council jobbie local so they say , all neat and tidy joins no real body marks
4.0 5 speed . 225 ks on the clock,. inside was perfect, dodgy central locking thing, had back canupy .
standerd wheels and shit house tyres, engine looked better but the sale guy was dogging it about a test drive ,, etc and so on.

11,000.00 with my 12 month fresh rego ea wagon. with warrenty.

Should i abanden the idea and chuck the same money n to the ea , but i just can not do it.

any ideas or thouhts would be helpful.

we bought a XH ute, nothing flash but does the job.

90,000km's, paintwork a bit scratched, mechanically perfect, 5 speed manual for $8500, so the ones you are looking at are way too much.

95k on the clock, canopy and racks, 5sp, air and power, Longreach (whatever that means) $13,500.

Keep looking IMO, theres a fair few good ones out there for better money than you have been quoted.

Pity I sold one at the start of this year $14000(traded)97 S/pack fully optioned 5ltr auto 17''s lowered big exhaust 65000k's(barely a scratch on it)yada yada.
So keep lookin and you'll find a bargin somewhere.
