Does anyone know if the BA XR6 Turbo and BA XR8 utes are out. I have not seen anyround. Also does anybody have any XR6 Turbo and XR8 ute times and the weight how much are they? Thanks

i saw a turbo ute at my dealer so i think there out. and the weight isnt much more than a sedan i think, not sure about that, maybe the slightly more difference than the au because the irs would weigh less in the sedan compared to the au. and id imagine traction might be a big problem, the sedan is having a hard enough time keeping the wheels from spinning.

Yes they're around.
They are heavier than the sedan. The XR6T Ute is 1750 if my memory serves me well. Add another ~50 for the XR8?

My local dealer has a Blueprint XR6T Ute.
And a Phantom XR8 Ute.

The Utes are still the best looking vehicles in Ford's Lineup :s6:

I haven't seen any on the road. Lot's of XR6 utes though.

My Ute is due in a couple of weeks
Once it's run in I'll do some times.

I'd qualify that remark. Looking from the rear the utes are pretty muc the same as AU which is neither here nor there for me. Also the 3/4 view from the back and coming up to side on is not a flattering look. I dont like the abrupt finish from that angle where the front of the bonnet meets the headlight. Mind you thats a BA thing not justthe utes.

I hear on the grape vine that dealers are going to get these cars in their sales line up, not sure if this is true or not, beast to make contact with your nearest dealer

Turbo utes are definitely available. I have taken an auto for a test-drive and my manuual is due for delivery next week.

I am yet to see an XR8 ute in the flesh though, but i assume they are just as available as the T.

They are available. I have had my turbo ute since the 17th Dec.

Race Rubber, how the hell did you do that?? Very jealous. Mine has been on order since 14 November and was told that they didn't even start making them until Jan 24. Lucky bugger.

The sedan is 1690kgs, the turbo ute is 1750kgs. The extra weight is due to the full chassis. My Citric Acid turbo is due in a couple of weeks with leather and 18's. Piccies on arrival.
