Has anybody seen the new XR 250 UTE in the flesh, considering it was going to be such a fantastic vehicle for Ford,it seems to have gone very quiet,or is it because I am on the wrong side of the country, has anyone on the forums got one, just curious as to how good they are, Thanks.
First at caravan, camping , boat show in Sydney then at Kirrawee Ford on display. Same blue colour. Smart looking ute. One of the motor or wheels mags does comparison with holden ute with holden determined the winner. Biased!!!!!!
i have seen one, but only the one on display at the melbourn motor show.
as for there being none around, i have heard here and elsewhere that there was/is(?) a delay in the production due to the body kits not getting here on time.
i think there are a couple of people here waiting for delivery. i am just a try hard (hence the nic), mines an xr6.
Why did Motor (or Wheels can't remember) run the CSV bullet against the Pursuit 250? Surely the Maloo would be a more closely matched competitor, price and power wise anyway..
They should have done all three, I have no problem with them putting it up against the CSV, I thought that it held it's own. Not bad considering they custom build the Bullet.
If I wanted that I would have brought a XLS ute and invested 30 grand at Herrods.(Sorry Rob) I have a historical interest in the Pursuit 250 as the last of the Windsor V8's, maybe it will be a classic one day, only 250 of them being made should get it close in 20 years. When everyone is driving their Hydrogen fuel cell vehicles I will pull out the old gas-guzzling Aussie tank, and stink up the atmosphere.
