ged'ay all..

i have ordered my XR8 ute with hard cover and spoiler.

after seeing a few with the spoiler and some without, im thinking about not getting it (the spoiler)

ive also heard that its harder to see out of the rear vision mirror too with the spoiler added...

what do you think?

for me, the spoiler looks out of place and I imagine you would get an eyefull in the rear vision mirror ....

I've got the XR6T ute (well Tuesday I will) and I thought the spoiler looks out of place. It breaks up the smooth lines.

I think the spoiler looks good. If you order the hard tonneau it looks a bit funny with out a spoiler.

Hard tops are a pain in the ass if you want to put anything big in the back.
I had a Roll Top on my XG they are great, and cost about the same as a hard top, look better in my opinion aswell.

Depends on what you are using the ute for.
For putting large items in the hard cover can only go up so far, whereas a tonneau cover is quick and doesnt look too bad. Less weight too, the hard cover isnt light

Hard cover takes 2 people to remove, so someone has to be there everytime you want to remove it

well im still undicided about the spoiler..

i want something totally different, thats why i got Citric acid and the spoiler for the hard tarp.


the back is hardly ever used, somtimes to sleep in and the other times is to chuck my work tools in..

i have the normal tarp now, and they look ugly with the elastic straps and little knobs.. i wish they had a system like the *cough cough* holdens utes..

anyways, yeh..

hard tarp with the spoiler is the go i think...
