Thumbs down XR8 ute-TOO HEAVY

In the Ford brochure,it says the XR8 ute weighs 1800 kgs. Thats pretty poor, considering its sedan counterpart weighs 60 kgs less. Can anyone explain why it weighs so much?

was no such thing as a 220, it stayed at 200 unless you got the pursuit 250

I saw an XR8 ute the other day with 220 badges on it. I think he had just added them for the look though.

There actually hasn't been an AU Ute with the 220kW motor. Other than the Pursuit with the stroked 5.6 litre 250kW motor, recent AU XR8 utes have had the 200kW version of the motor only.

I though that there was a XR8 persuit that was released with a 220 in it, unless it was just a 200.

Original Pursuit XR8 was the 200kw motor.

As for the new one being too heavy. Just wait til you drive it. You won't notice the weight then.
