funkbuster Registered User Join Date: Mar 2009 Posts: 1	1979 Fiesta doesnt run Hey guys/gals. My first post here and I am already asking questions. I just picked up a beauty of a 1979 Ford Fiesta today. Has a 1.6L carb engine. Guy I got it from said it was running ok, but would cut off when idling so he tuned it up (distributor cap/rotor) and said after that the car wouldn't start, he didn't really like the car anyway so he just sold it. It is a US car if that makes a difference. So just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on what the problem may be.
