2000 fiestatrunck remote open
Hi. I have a 2000 fiesta which has central locking on the doors and I had an alarm installed that finally lets me open and close the doors without using the key anymore :) and it closes the windows also (best feature ever).
Now the alarm can also open the trunck from the remote if connected.
My question is : Has anybody managed to install a actuator on the trunck door so it can be opened from the inside (from a switch) or from the alarm remote?
If yes can you provide some pictures and which type of actuator did you use.
I told the guys that installed my alarm that I want this feature also but they said the trunck mechanism is operated by a flexible wire insted of a regular rod and they can not install one.
My opinin is thay maybe they were just a little lazy.
