air filter assembly diagram??

i have just bought a p reg ford ka, does anybody have a diagram of the air filter assembly, the previous owner fitted a k & n filter which is blocked up with muck. ive got all the bits off another car but im left with something that looks like a air flow meter and an air temp sensor, does anybody know where these go.

i dont have the bit that goes from the air filter box to the intake at the front of that car so do they go onto this??

thanx

Re: air filter assembly diagram??

as far as i know the KA was never fitted with an air flow meter? there was a just a simple hose going from the engine(a bendy rubber one) to the big filter box? i replaced mine because the original one was huge and took up to much space but mine is a later engine so i dont fully know wether it has an air flow meter etc?

Re: air filter assembly diagram??

i know if you have a car with an air flow meter you have to buy a filter to fit it. i bought a pipercross filter and it has a rubber housing for the air flow meter to sit in.

not sure if you could fit it properly without the space for it, unless u make a hole for it :S
