Looks nice. The whole lot tying into the buckets looks class. Don't mean to be a spoil sport though. How will the alcantara effect the performance of the passenger airbag? As the cover is designed to rip in half when the airbag is deployed.
the alcanatara on the airbag cover is very thin it has had the backing material pulled off and a light cut mark has been made in the material in theory it should tear as the force of the airbag can break bones im sure it can get thro a thin piece of alcantara
hey simhopper i creating a complete replica of your car cause i love it so much im doin the exterior first i have all the parts sorted except for the suspension where and how did u get dat on a 80mm drop what make are the springs and where did u get them, another thing was the headunit hard to fit and are the rails for the bucket seats hard to get as well sorry one more thing what colour is the car looks like fiat orange??? i live in ireland so dont think you'll be seeing the same car around where u live any help is greatly greatly appreciated
the suspesion is kw coilovers the front seats are ford racing puma items in dark grey fabric and blue alcantara the headunit is easy go to halfords buy the adapter kit for 20 quid custom subframes were made and the colour is standard from ford called flare
as for copying it mate please dont make ur car so it has one off looks
if youve got 15k then you could copy it but that price does not cover labour charges
i only want to get all the exterior done first i hopin to get all the parts off the net cheap enuf get a mate to help me put it on the just get it sprayed maybe dehandeld and flush boot, what do you mean by one off looks?, theres no halfords in ireland was there a brand name or anything to identify the adapter kit for the head unit, where abouts did u get the KW coilovers i went to there website but couldnt find them thanks
