I know, i know, you think you've heard it all before, but the bloomin' heater won't blow any air at all!

I've had a check done on it & there seems to be current coming out of the switch and it seems to end at the resister in the footwell under the dash.

The chap at Fords says that he has never heard of this before & these parts don't fail & therefore he can't suggest any solution.

I would like to check the funcionality of the switch myself by removing it from the dash, but can't see how you would go about getting the thing out!

Do any of you clever people out there have any suggestions as to what i can do to solve the problem!

If I understand you correctly, you have power to the resistor but not to the blower motor. If so it should be the resistor. Common problem on Fords. Don't know where you are but around here at the Ford dealer they are between $8.00 and $17.00
