Cam Belt or chain?

On a 2003 Ford Ka Collection (70PS) does the engine have a cam belt or chain?

Thanks

Re: Cam Belt or chain?

Thanks alot!

Whats the servicing like with these? Do they need changing as often as the belts?

Re: Cam Belt or chain?

In for life, unless they start rattling or break, both of which are rare.

Re: Cam Belt or chain?

Exhaust and filter are uprated, standard intercooler. But Dreamscience gets an unmodified car up from 225 to 270!

Re: Cam Belt or chain?

Fair enough! Thats quite alot for only a remap. Think I can get mine upto around 260bhp with a remap alone. Then the other stages are silly money for the amount of power you gain (imo!)

Re: Cam Belt or chain?

Yer, the standard ST is vastly detuned when you consider it's a 2.5 turbo- really it should be showing an easy 250 brake. Not too hard to get it producing respectable power. Plus loads of torque into the bargain.
