I have a major problem with my reverse and first gear. please can someone help. i have had my ford fiesta zetec 52 plate since August 06. When i put the car in reverse or first gear it grates dramatically, ford are saying its a design feature, is this bull or it it the clutch or gearbox. All i am getting is people fobbing me off and i needs some expert advice as its still under warrenty and i dont want a faulty car. can you help or give advice.

Sounds like a clutch adjustment problem ; in any event you should insist it is fixed.
