Hi I have bought a fiesta 99 1,3 endura engine, i can not get the cooling fan to work. the car does not have a temp gauge fitted to it i have checked fuse 33 i think 30 amp for thr cooling fan no power i have continuity between the fuse and the fan motor also continuity between the earth on the motor and body earth. If i power up the fuse the fan comes on ok, i asume the fan is ecu controlled then. Where is the temp sendor on this car the dash has a red warning light when ignition is turned on but does not come on to indicate the car is overhearting but i have ran the car for a long time and no sign of the fan cutting in any help would be apprieciated thanks

Engine temp sensor on these is at the rear of the engine screwed into the inlet manifold and as you guessed controls the cooling fan. You also need to check F28 and 36, also the fan relay.
