Dyno Results - Ford Forums

I've wanted to do it since I got the race and finally today I got enough courage to get it done. I put my car on a DYNO.

The results are

I was hoping to get 60FWKW and it looked good until the power started to level off at around 4000-4500RPM. All in all im happy with the results but a little disapointed that I couldn't crack the 60KW mark.

well im glad someone finaly did it!!! hehe good effort.
Was it a warm day when u did it?
now knowing the results would u say the figure on the ford website of 74 kw is correct or 83 (whatever the manual says) ?????

The temperature was 29c near the dyno. And they had 2 huge fans blowing onto the car. The only thing done to the car at the time was the BMC filter. Tyres where at 40PSI and that car was in 3rd gear.

I did my own little calculation to find torque was 116NM if it peaked at 4000rpm. This was done using both the Torque RPM calculation and simple taken away the ~20% drivetrain lose.

Yeah, that sounds about right for a fwd car.

First target will be to break 60FWKW. With a 2inch whole exhaust and a new intake im hoping to mid 60's.

with a full exhaust and new intake ull crack the early 70s imo
