Fiesta 1.3 Finesse Immobiliser/key prob!
My daughter has a Fiesta 1.3 Finnesse V-Reg [2000]. All was working well until this evening. Went to start and nothing! [apart from a ticking noise when ignition switched on.] Just before starting speedo needle spun right the way round and then back to zero. Little red LEDs flasing every 2-3 seconds by clock. Looked in manual poss problem with immobiliser and key coding. Tried to follow instructions for re-mapping keys but nothing. The keys aren't remote control type, but are sold with a small red tab at the end. Do any of you more knowledgable owners have any idea's as to what the problem might be. As for myself, I can read the manual and know where the petrol goes!!! LOL Thanks
