fiesta 1996 encore stalling accasionally - Ford Forums

hi all
im hopefully goin to buy a 1.3 encore 1996 5 door (first car) soon but it has a minor problem,
the owner says it stalls accasionally!!
he also mentioned that it could be to do with the idle valve?
is this true and if brought a new one it would all be fine again??
it has jst over 30,000 miles on the clock which i think is way to low for a 1996 car could it possibly be 130,000 miles
the steerin wheel looks worn in photos but ill find out tonight when i go and have a look at it

Could be 130k, you need documentation to back up the mileage. I'd have a good look over it and also do an RAC online check, only costs a fiver now, should show up any probs.

wots the obvious things to look out for if its high mileage??
anything under bonnet which can be spotted?
