Re: Fiesta 98 1.25 Heater problem (again)
hey guys i've had major issues in the past with heating on the fiesta, it doesn't matter if the air is blowing hot or cold, alot of the time it's the heater control valve, and that usually sorts the prob, however when you attempt to replace this i suggest you get some self holding grips as it's a real pain taking off the hose rings... can save you a good 30 mins... if this doesn't fix it, then it's more than likely the heater control panel, or the thermostat, but my guess would be the heater control panel... which i picked up at a local breakers yard for 20 quid and the heater control valve you can get from a breaker for about £15, whereas ford will charge you like 50 for the valve and a whopping £150 for the panel, and that doesn't include labour of £65 per hour!.. hope this helps...
