The airbag light on my fiesta (mk4 1.25) is flashing regularly - once every five seconds. Does anybody know what this fault signifies? Thanks.

I replaced the airbag clockspring and the problem is cured. The one I put on needs more grease on it though. Anybody know what the best type of grease to use for this is?

i have the same problem with the airbag light, i believe its because i changed the standard seats with fiesta si ones. to do this i had ti disconnect the seat pretensioner wire which is the reason why its flashin.ive heard u have to go to a ford garage to get it switched off which would cost aboot 85 just for the labour !
