fiesta mk 4 diesel probs
hi all newbie here ,
im having truoble and need a few sudjestions .
a few days ago during a rlly cold morning , staring the car to find a loud tapping noise thats stayed and hasnt gone . seems to be from the head near no1 piston . ive pulled cam cover of , cant see anything -pulled the cam out nothing -checked the tappets on no.1 intake and out -nothing . wondering wether theres a broken valve spring and cant see it .havnt removed head yet dont want to unless neccary . its a r reg fiesta diesel ghia 1.8 edura de also timing belt had 2 teeth stripped not sure if it was related to this or an earlier prob from another owner . thx guys
