Question Fiesta Pollen Filter

Can someone please advise where the pollen filter on my mark 6 2002 Fiesta is and how do I replace it?

Re: Fiesta Pollen Filter

It is in the passenger side footwell.

1) You need to carefully remove the large trim that would be next to your right foot if you were sitting in the passenger seat (two clips at the ‘thick end’ and one crappy plastic screw at the ‘thin end’.
2) Remove the cover from the end of the filter which is two or three (I can’t quite remember) screws.

Replacement is reversal of fitting. But make sure that you put the filter in the correct way for the air flow (should be arrowed) otherwise the air will not pass through it correctly! Also many reports of wet passenger footwells from wrongly installed filters so make sure it is all good and you get the cover back on properly.

Re: Fiesta Pollen Filter

Hi, I haven't been able to locate the panel in the passenger footwell that you mention but I wonder if we are looking at the same car as I notice that the photo with your post is the new shape Fiesta but mine is the old shape. Any suggestions? Cheers.

Re: Fiesta Pollen Filter

It's under the scuttle panel directly below the n/s wiper blade, two little flaps to release and it slides out upwards/forwards.

Re: Fiesta Pollen Filter

Hi David,

I am terribly sorry – I just assumed it was for the current shape car! In which case my instructions would have meant zilch, lol.

But hopefully they may still be of help to people with 2002+ cars.
