hi guys.. just bought an m reg fiesta si, only problem is the rev counter doesnt work, it came on once briefly after a bump in the road. when you turn the ignition on the needle rises slightly so i assume power is getting to it.

basically what drives the rev counter so i can check it's connection?

More than likely the instrument itself is faulty; it's driven off the coil pack wiring. If there was a problem here, you'd have a running concern.

cheers for that..do you know if there is any fix for this i.e re-solder something or is it a new set of clocks???

Never looked into repairs to be honest, always just binned them. BTW tacho is a seperate item, so you don't need to buy a complete cluster.
