Hi guys,

I am new to driving cars (4 months on the road, previously a biker)

I was just wondering about upgrading my car to inch out a little bit more performance.

I am driving a mk6 2004 Fiesta Zetec, it's a zippy little thing off the line, but the power in 3rd and 4th when trying to accelerate really lacks.

What would be the best way to increase acceleration from a standing start, but also increasing performance at higher speeds?

All depends on how far you want to go and how much you want to spend or do . There are plenty of magazines specialising in this that can give you some ideas .

Thanks for your quick reply, I'm looking to spend in the region of 2-4 thousand.

Could you recommend any magazines?
I'm in Aus and the ones at the local newsagent are kinda crap.....
