There are only numbers 1-6 on the radio itself. Am I missing an obvious way to put the code 8517 in? Thanks for the speedy reply.

I'm not sure on these radios. Might try looking in the owners manual.

I did find this on another site

The radio gives me the option to enter in the code however I'm not sure how to enter the 7 and 8 of the code as there is only 1-6. Thanks for your help though :) .

More than likely one button will move you from digit to digit (left to right) and another will allow you to change each digit 0-9 in each row. Could possibly be the seek up and down buttons. I wish RS Logan was online. He knows more than I do on these vehicles.

I've done it! the 1 key was pressed 8 times, the 2 key 5 times and so on with key 5 being enter. Thank you so much, this has saved me so much hassle :D
