My husband was driving our fiesta to collect me from work when the clutch pedal went flat to the floor and lost all of its pressure. We were collected by our recovery and dropped it off at our local garage, does anyone know how much it is going to cost to repair it and if it is an easy job to do? We need the car for Monday as we are going on holiday.
Re: Ford Fiesta TDCi 52 reg 2002 Clutch Help Please
MAY be easy- (depending on if you've not lost any brake fluid) the clutch master cylinder rod can come adrift from the pedal on these- just needs refitting and a clip over the rod from Ford to prevent reoccurrence. If not the cylinder itself or finally and most expensive the slave in the gearbox which will be accompanied by a brake fluid leak under the car.
