Hi there.

My Ka's heater has stopped producing heat.

The fans work ok, but only blow cold air.

Someone suggested my coolant level might be low, so I checked that and the level is fine.

Could anyone give me any other tips, or things to try.

I was always under teh impression that heaters blowing cold is one of teh first signs that your head gasket is on its way out.

Sigh... most times problems with Ka /Fiesta heaters are due to the heater valve. As I've said on one or two previous occasions....

lol at least i tried to answer:) am used to the old crossflow jobbyblobbys :) my Ka is a new addition to my family so am still learning :)

Yer, I can see where you're coming from; low coolant due to gasket leakage causing cold heater, but the amount of heater valves we see going down and the virual eradication of failing head gaskets these days all point to valve siezure.

I've just brought a Ka, and its a Y reg with air con. I can't seem to get any hot air out either! I was talking to my friend about it, and she mentioned that one of our mates with a Ka also doesn't get heat in her Ka. Does anyone know if its a general problem across all Ka's? And would it be easy/cheap to fix if it the heater valve?
