Hi all. This may seem like an odd question but the answer isn't in the manual.
I've changed out the handbrake cable on a '99 1.3 fiesta and need to know if there is a torque setting for it.

There is no torque setting for cable .Just adjust so there is no excessive travel and it holds o.k on both wheels . Dont make it too tight as you need a bit of free play to allow brake shoes to clear on release . You usually find after a few days when the cable has settled in and been used a few times that you might need to re-adjust it . Well done , good luck.

Thanks for your help. I feel better knowing there isn't a setting. Will keep an eye on it and adjust as necessary.
