Hi, I have a problem in that my radio has partially broken. AM works, cd player works, FM radio doesn't work! Have dismantled and the aerial wire is in (and as I say AM works) so how can only FM be broken? It worked one day, didn't the next.

Also how on earth are you supposed to get the air direction control to slot back into the dial on the fascia!! I can't do it, my bf can't do it (and he builds/mods VW Beetles for a hobby)!!!

Sounds like the radio's kaput, even with no aerial you should still get FM. The heater control can be a pain, you need to fit it in the other end first, having the side panel off the heater box is necessary as well as the lower dash, you then have to refit the lower dash turning the control as you refit, you'll be able to feel it click in and then DON'T let go of the dash until you've refitted the screws.
