just thought i'd post this problem that i've been having with my Fiesta mk4 1.3 encore. Every time I try jumping onto the motorway then I get a few moments of hesitation before the car accelerates normally again. This tends to be when revving quite high, say in 3rd gear, and the same can also be said when in 5th gear and im trying to accelerate to overtake.

I shall be replacing the spark plugs, as well as re-adjusting the tappets, this weekend hopefully, but is there anything specific that anyone can think of that would cause this? to be honest i dont notice a huge change in engine noise but the endura engine is so damn quite i could be mistaken. However im lurather inclined to say that it could be something to do with the clutch disengaging/slipping, something which I have no idea about to be honest.

Any thoughts would be welcome!
