I love my Fiesta

Hi, I just picked up my brand new red Fiesta 1.6 Zetec with 16" alloys yesterday. It took me 10 minutes to get used to the car since my other car is an XR6 (also bloody awesome).

I am completely smitten. It is the nicest and most fun car I have driven since I owned a Datsun 260Z. This car is ALIVE. It has go kart like handling and decent oomph.

After reaching home I got out of the car smilling like an idiot.

In case you think I am some kind of a neophyte, who doesn't have much experience with cars, I am not. Cars are my profession and I have driven some real hot machines including Subaru WRX STis, BMW M5, Falcon XR6 Turbo etc.

I could keep on raving about it but instead I will go and take it for a drive.

Re: I love my Fiesta

No. I am not pulling any one's leg. A car does not have to be seriously fast to be seriously entertaining. All it has to do is to involve the driver. This car is soooooo involving. It has really direct steering, that is very well weighted. The car is very light and nimble, has excellent turn in, sticks like glue to the road and has a very rorty exhaust note.

Sure it has its drawbacks. It has too few cupholders and no passenger door lock barrel to name a few, however the car is unbelievably fun to drive. I look forward to driving it.

Cheers,
Sashami
