Immobiliser on M reg 1.1?? HELP! - Ford Forums - Mustang Forum, Ford Trucks, Ford Focus and Ford Cars

Hiya,

I have a 1.1 M reg fiesta (think it's ghia). The car was sat in my garage for 3 years while I was at uni and now it won't start. My dad and I suspect it is immobilised but we aren't sure if it has one. Does anyone know? And if so what can be done about it? We have tried various other things (e.g. new battery and coil) but it doesn't seem to be starting. The engine is "turning" (so my dad says) but not starting. Can anyone help pretty please?!

Possibly the CFi unit has jammed shut, by the sounds of it you need to book it in somewhere.
