Hi, sorry if this is a thread somewhere.

I need to find out if a W reg KA has a distributor cap that can be removed.
I know where it is, but due to its poor location cant get a clear view of how it comes off, if it does.
My mate came round tonight with his KA misfiring, tested the plugs found No4 to be not sparking.
changed lead 3 for 4 [at both ends] now No3 doesnt spark which suggests its not the lead but the cap end.

ok its not a dis cap its a coil pack, bloomin expensive to for what they are..

what a stupid place to put it.... its not as if it really needs to go in that location, its just a pity the elec lead wasnt longer, i would have relocated it in case of future problems,
had to remove the oil filter to get better access, but once i manages to squeeze my hands through the tiny gaps got it off, new one went in a dream.
problem solved..
