My girlfriend's Ka is due for it's service shortly. Here in Malta we tend to stick to the 3000mile / 5000km service due to high ambient temperatures, stop / start driving and short trips. I usually work on my cars myself. Is there anything else to look out for apart from the usual oil change, oil filter, air filter, fuel filter, perhaps spark plugs, tappet clearance and brakes?

I've seen a couple of posts regarding the idle speed control valve. How does one remove it and clean it?

Btw, it's a 2001 Endura-E if it makes any difference

You need to be careful with the plugs on these, give them a soaking beforehand. I wouldn't bother with the ISCV unless there's an idle concern.
