Hi , i am also looking into fitting a later instrument cluster into a 05/99 1.3 endura Ka. I think my dash speedo would be cable drinen ? and the later type would be a speed sensor pulse from the gearbox. Does any one know how easy to fit the gearbox with the later speed sensor so i can have a speed pulse ?. I know all the wireing will need to be looked into but with out a speed pulse the dash and mils will not function. At first i will experiment on the bench but would be great as the later cars have a better dash with built in rev counter. I have all the wireing diagrams so thats a start. Any info on speed sensors and what years had a speed sensor . ps i have not even looked to see what i have but assume it would be a cable. Thanks for any help in advance Hs this ever been done ? Looks like this car has cable drive for speedo and speed pulse to engine ecu. So this should work with a rewire and will do some more work on this later.
